- He's from Oklahoma, but he's also lived all over the world (Hawaii, Greece, Japan, etc). His wife told me that their temple is under renovation right now so their closest temple is the Kansas City temple and that they love it!
-He's the CEO of an petroleum company! Fancy!
- He has three kids, who are 12, 10, and 8. They are the cutest things ever and I think their whole family could be models.
-He loves technology! Our mission is about to become way more technology-centered and i'm super excited.
- He already loves all of us so much. He just got here and he just has so much kindness and love in his heart and it's amazing.

This is changing subjects but I just wanted to bear my testimony real quick about prayer. It is so powerful. It is our way to converse with our Heavenly Father and get our own personal revelation about life. And, sometimes, our prayers don't get answered in the way we want, but that is okay. I like to listen to Hank Smith a lot and in one of his talks he shares 1 Nephi 7:17-18, which says: "But it came to pass that I prayed unto the Lord, saying: O Lord, according to my faith which is in Thee, wilt tho u deliver me from the hands of my brethren; yea, even give m e strength that I may burst these bands with which I am bo und. And it came to pass that w hen I had said these words, behold, the bands were loosed fr om off my hands and feet, and I stood before my brethren, an d I spake unto them again." He says that one of his seminary students came up to him and said this same thought came to her while reading this verse and he was like "uh, what are you talking about". She told him that Nephi wanted his bands bursting off of his hands, but they were simply just loosed. His prayer was answered, but not in the way he wanted. And that is okay. God knows you. He will answer your prayers and show you His love. Just pray. I love you. Have a great week.
