Week 14: Love in the room from floor to ceiling

Hey there everybody! The title of this week's email comes from a popular Christmas *NSYNC jam that me and my comp have been listening to all week, and it's how I have been feeling about all my investigators!!! Even though I only have a short 3 months as una misionara, I have grown to have so much love for this area, for the Spanish language, and especially for the people. I can really recognize why my Padre Celestial (Heavenly Father) put me here in tiny little Blackfoot, Idaho, at this time in my life. Missions have their ups and downs, there have been bad times definitely, but the good will always, always outweigh the bad. Heavenly Father knows us so perfectly, He really does!!!! One of my favorite scriptures on the mission has become 1 Nephi 21:14-16   But, behold, Zion hath said: The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me—but he will show that he hath not...Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee, O house of Israel. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.  He will never, ever forget us, and I can promise you that! He literally has us engraven upon the palms of His hands, and He will never, ever forsake us. Never. Please turn to Him. He wants you to come unto Him, and I can promise you, that if you do, your life will never be better.

A couple fun things that happened this week:
-Transfers were this week!! Me and my trainer are staying here, but one of my district leaders left, and I may have written in his transfer journal that I thought he had beautiful eyes. Whoops.
-Our investigators, Rebecca and Guillermo, came to church again this week and they STAYED ALL 3 HOURS WOOOOOO and Rebecca signed up to bring dessert to the Christmas party???? Milagros all around here in Blackfoot.

I try to be artsy with my name tag and it doesn't work

Love you all so much!! And keep going out there and lighting the world. WOOOOO

It snowed! And the snow actually stayed!! All my new mission friends from Arizona are not happy. lol

The people we live with gave us a giant Christmas tree! I had to break out my Christmas onesie. lol
